7-Day Uganda Primate & Wildlife Safari
Tailored for Orion x2 — A complete journey through Uganda's natural wonders, from dense rainforests to open savannahs. Experience chimpanzees, mountain gorillas, tree-climbing lions, and more.
Safari Overview
This seven-day journey provides a complete experience of Uganda's natural wonders, moving from the dense rainforests of the west to the open savannahs of the south. The trip begins with the world's best primate viewing in Kibale and Bwindi, where clients encounter habituated Chimpanzees and Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitats.
Between these forest adventures, we explore the diverse landscapes of Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will search for the rare tree-climbing lions of Ishasha and take a private boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to see large concentrations of hippos and elephants at the water's edge.
In the final leg of the trip, we will visit Lake Mburo National Park for a more intimate wildlife experience with zebras and giraffes before concluding at the Equator. Each night is spent in hand-picked lodges which provide comfortable rooms and exceptional views of the Ugandan wilderness. This route is efficient and scenic, ensuring that you see the very best of "The Pearl of Africa" in a single week!
