Safari Overview

This seven-day journey provides a complete experience of Uganda's natural wonders, moving from the dense rainforests of the west to the open savannahs of the south. The trip begins with the world's best primate viewing in Kibale and Bwindi, where clients encounter habituated Chimpanzees and Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitats.

Between these forest adventures, we explore the diverse landscapes of Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will search for the rare tree-climbing lions of Ishasha and take a private boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to see large concentrations of hippos and elephants at the water's edge.

In the final leg of the trip, we will visit Lake Mburo National Park for a more intimate wildlife experience with zebras and giraffes before concluding at the Equator. Each night is spent in hand-picked lodges which provide comfortable rooms and exceptional views of the Ugandan wilderness. This route is efficient and scenic, ensuring that you see the very best of "The Pearl of Africa" in a single week!

Safari Price Details

Cost Per Person: USD $2,561 (based on double occupancy, tailored for Orion x2)

Single supplement applies for solo travelers. The price includes gorilla and chimpanzee permits valued at $1,000 total per person.

We try to make our prices as all-inclusive as possible so that our clients do not need to reach for their wallets. Where there are overland sectors, the 4x4 safari vehicle and safari guide will be at the clients' exclusive. The guide will accompany clients on all overland sectors, assist with check-in at the accommodation, and share his knowledge on the flora and fauna of Uganda.

Availability & Booking

Bookings and availability can only be guaranteed once the required/invoiced deposit payment has reached our account.

Gorilla permits are limited and sell out months in advance, especially during peak seasons (June-September, December-February). We strongly recommend booking at least 3-6 months ahead.

Best Time to Visit: Dry seasons from June to September and December to February offer easier trekking conditions. However, chimpanzee tracking and game drives are rewarding year-round.

Visa Information: Uganda visa available online at visas.immigration.go.ug. Single entry tourist visa: $50. East African tourist visa (Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya): $100.
