01Entebbe → Murchison Ziwa/Murchison

Depart Entebbe after breakfast and drive north via the Luwero triangle. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking (walking safari) – the only place to see wild rhinos in Uganda. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park. Visit the top of the falls, where the Nile explodes through a 7m gorge and plunges 45m. Transfer to your lodge for dinner.

02Murchison Safari Murchison NP

Early morning game drive on the northern bank. Look for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, hartebeest, and if lucky, leopards. Return for breakfast and rest. After lunch, enjoy a 2-3 hour boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. Spot hippos, crocodiles, and the rare shoebill stork along the riverbanks.

03Murchison → Kibale Kibale NP

After breakfast, drive south through the verdant countryside of Hoima and Fort Portal. Enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains and tea plantations. Arrive at Kibale National Park in the late afternoon. Check into your forest lodge, relax and prepare for chimpanzee trekking.

04Chimps & Transfer Kibale → QENP

Early morning briefing at Kanyanchu visitor center, then enter the rainforest to track a habituated chimpanzee community. Trek lasts 2–4 hours, also spotting red colobus, L’Hoest monkeys, and birds. After the trek and lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving by evening.

05Queen Elizabeth Kasenyi / Kazinga

Morning game drive in Kasenyi plains – spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs. After lunch, boat cruise on Kazinga Channel (hippos, crocodiles, birds). Late afternoon, drive to Ishasha sector (tree-climbing lions territory) and overnight at Ishasha camp.

06Tree Lions → Bwindi Ishasha / Bwindi

Early morning game drive in Ishasha sector searching for the famous tree-climbing lions resting in fig trees. Also see elephants, topis and buffaloes. After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx 4 hrs). Arrive at your lodge for evening relaxation, ready for gorilla trekking the next day (optional add-on). If you depart today, we can drop you at Kisoro airstrip or drive to Entebbe (long day).
